Vishing training: The Saved Number
Vishing training in a 2:43 animated story. It covers Phone scams and the callback rule; AI voice cloning. In English and Arabic, with captions you can switch on or off, and a scenario quiz at the end.
What your team will learn
-
Identify the four red flags in a phone call that asks for money: being rushed and told to keep it secret, a caller ID that can be faked, a familiar voice that AI can copy, and a push to skip the checks.
-
Apply the callback rule to any call that asks for money: hang up and call back on a number you already know (a saved contact or the company directory), never one the caller gives, hold the payment if you can't reach them, and never give a password or code to a caller.
-
Report a suspicious call to the security team even when nothing was paid, and state what to do if money has already gone: call your bank at once, on the bank's own number, then report it.
The story
“The Saved Number” is the story at the heart of this course. Karim (finance manager) is the lead character; the learner watches the situation unfold, spots the warning signs, and sees the right thing to do. Set in Nakhlora Group, a fictional Gulf company.
Sample quiz question
Karim's phone rings after hours. The screen shows "Faisal", Faisal's photo and his saved number, 050 ••• ••42. What does that prove?
- It's Faisal, because the number is saved in Karim's contacts.
- The call comes from inside Nakhlora, so it's safe to talk.
- Nothing on its own: the name and number can be faked.
- The call is genuine, because his photo appears on the screen too.
Correct answer: Nothing on its own: the name and number can be faked.
Why: Criminals can fake the number shown on an incoming call. If it matches a saved contact, the phone shows that contact's name and photo too.
