Video conferencing training: Laith, Twice
VideoConferencing training in a 2:36 animated story. It covers Sharing the wrong window, meeting links, recordings; deepfake video calls. In English and Arabic, with captions you can switch on or off, and a scenario quiz at the end.
What your team will learn
-
State why a face or a voice on a video call is not proof, and check a request for files, access or money through a channel you choose, such as a number you already know.
-
Keep meeting links private, use the waiting room to admit only people you expect, and lock the meeting once everyone is in.
-
Share one window with notifications off, never the whole screen, and record only when needed, telling everyone and keeping the recording inside Nakhlora.
-
Report a stranger or a fake in a meeting to your security team.
The story
“Laith, Twice” is the story at the heart of this course. Hana (project manager) is the lead character; the learner watches the situation unfold, spots the warning signs, and sees the right thing to do. Set in Nakhlora Group, a fictional Gulf company.
Sample quiz question
A smiling 'Laith' on the call asks Hana to drop the project folder link in the chat. What should she do?
- Send it: she can see his face, and the client is waiting.
- Hold off, and text Laith on the number she already has.
- Ask him to wave and turn his head, to see if the face holds.
- Ask Rob if the face looks right to him, then decide.
Correct answer: Hold off, and text Laith on the number she already has.
Why: A face on a call is not proof, and a good fake passes a wave or a head turn. Hana checks through a channel she chooses: the number she already has.
